Q: What is Just $6?

A: Just $6 is a campaign run by the Americans for Campaign Reform, a non-partisan, non-profit grassroots organization, building a movement of citizens who support Public Funding of all federal elections: the House, Senate, and Presidency.


Q: How did you come up with the name, Just $6?

A: It would cost Congress Just $6 per citizen, per year to publicly fund all federal elections.


Q: What is public funding?

A: “Public funding” means that the government provides all candidates who meet strict campaign requirements with adequate funds to run a credible campaign for election. Public Funding is already working in Arizona, Maine and was recently adopted in Connecticut. Find out more here.

A: Donations made to the Just $6 campaign are used to help us spread the word about public funding and how it will benefit each and every one of us.
